A Return to the Garden Within
In the busyness of our lives, we forget what it feels like to rest, to breathe, to simply be. Our retreats are a chance to step away from the noise and remember your natural rhythm — the one that moves with the seasons, the body, and the breath.
Each Made for the Garden Healing Retreat weaves together gentle movement, creative expression, nature connection, and soulful rest. Rooted in trauma-informed care, these experiences invite you to slow down and listen to the quiet wisdom of your body.
You don’t need to be “healed” to come — just open to the possibility of tending yourself with compassion.

Each retreat offers a nurturing blend of:
Trauma-Informed Yoga & Movement – grounding, restorative practices for all bodies
Creative Expression – guided art, journaling, and reflection to awaken the imagination
Nature Connection – mindful walks, breathwork, and moments of stillness outdoors
Community & Reflection – gentle conversation circles and shared nourishment
Every element is designed to restore safety, ease, and presence — helping you reconnect to your body’s own garden of healing.
Our quiet home studio is on the second floor of this old farmhouse and surrounded by acres and acres of farmland in mid Michigan. We have 3 acres and lots of big trees that create lots of privacy. The closest freeway is thirty miles and outside of the neighbor's dog and occasional farm equipment, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful.
A Day to Return to Yourself
Sometimes, healing doesn’t require traveling far — only slowing down long enough to listen.
Our Made for the Garden Day Retreats are designed as gentle sanctuaries: one-day gatherings for rest, renewal, and reconnection through movement, art, and nature.
These retreats are small and trauma-informed, allowing each person to move at their own pace. You’ll be guided through practices that nourish body and spirit — helping you release what’s heavy and reconnect to ease, creativity, and peace.

A sacred pause for body, mind, and spirit
Sometimes healing asks for more than an afternoon — it asks for rest, stillness, and time to listen. Our overnight retreats are designed as gentle immersions into peace, creativity, and reconnection with your true self.
Nestled in a quiet, garden-inspired setting, each retreat invites you to slow down and soften — through guided yoga, creative expression, nature walks, and nourishing meals made with care. There’s space to rest deeply, reflect, and remember what it feels like to be at ease in your own body.
Each experience is trauma-informed and intentionally small, allowing for presence, safety, and genuine connection. You’ll be supported in tending both your inner and outer landscape — cultivating stillness, creative flow, and a felt sense of renewal.
When we allow ourselves to rest, the garden within begins to bloom again.
